Our story
Serving Bellevue since 1998
Dalton's has never tried to be the newest place in Nashville. It is the place where a family shows up after church, where a crew from a job site grabs lunch, where a retired couple has the same table on Tuesday, and where a server knows how you take your tea.

A family restaurant, run by a family
Doug Crow opened Dalton's in 1998 and named it for his son, Dalton. It was the first restaurant in what grew into a family hospitality company across Nashville. After Doug's passing in 2022, Dalton took over leadership of the family business, and Dalton's Grill is still the place where it started.
What that continuity buys a guest is simple: the food tastes like it did last year, the prices stay fair, and the people behind the counter have been here a while.
Around here, you'll always have a seat at the table.
How we got here
1998
Dalton's Grill opens in Bellevue Valley Plaza, founded by Doug Crow and named for his son Dalton.
The 2000s
The Meat & Three line becomes a weekday habit for lunch crowds, and Friday catfish turns into a standing plan.
2023
The restaurant marks 25 years in the same shopping center, serving many of the same families.
Today
Still family run as part of the Crow family's Nashville hospitality company, with the same kitchen and the same welcome.
The food has not gone anywhere
Southern favorites and comfort food, good portions, and prices you can feel good about. Meat & Three plates change daily, catfish shows up on Friday, and breakfast lands on Saturday.
